The Sports Premium is a fund which must be spent by schools on making additional and sustainable improvements to the provision of PE and sport for the benefit of all pupils, to encourage the development of healthy, active lifestyles.

In 2024-25, the school received £17,590 for Sports Premium.

• Over 200 children have participated in school sports competitions and activities.
• Our PE curriculum has been revised and equipment has been purchased to enable a wider range of sports and to support a more diverse curriculum. Children can then express themselves in a variety of sports and find a sport that they are more confident at and enjoy.
• Provision of after-school sporting clubs for improved physical and mental wellbeing

This year, our focus is to ensure we can offer the best sports provision possible for our pupils by:

• providing top-up swimming lessons for Year 6 (summer term)

• offer a wider range of activities both within and outside the curriculum in order to get more pupils involved: 

• additional opportunities for all pupils to engage in physical activity at playtime and lunchtime
