Our Breakfast Club (Sunrise Club) opens at 7:45 am and pupils can arrive between the start time and 8:30am. There is no admission to Breakfast Club after 8:30am.

The morning gate opens for pupils at 8:40am and closes at 8:50am. Pupils walk directly to their classroom door and are met by their teacher. Pupils complete early morning work to help warm their brains up!

We have an act of collective worship (Monday-Friday) at 9:00am and pupils return to class to begin their first main lesson. On Friday, our collective worship is when we celebrate the achievements of the week.

Phonics and whole-class reading sessions take place at 10:20 am each morning.

Playtime for Years 1-6 is at 10:45 am each morning and ends at 11:05 am. Pupils can bring in fruit, a cereal bar, a carton of juice or water. We ring the bells at the end of playtime at 11:03 am to ensure a prompt return to lessons.

The nursery has a slightly different arrangement for lunch, which is outlined here.

Lunch begins at 11:45 am for the reception class. Years 1 to 6 have lunch from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm. All classes have a full hour for lunch (either a cooked school lunch or a packed lunch) and playtime.

Key Stage 1 has a 15-minute afternoon playtime between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m., which offers teachers flexibility around their lessons.

School ends for infants (nursery to Year 2) at 3:10 pm and for juniors (Years 3-6) at 3:15 pm.

We run and host several after-school clubs for children, all of which run from 3:20 p.m. until 4:20 p.m. We also run a Twilight Club from 4:15 p.m. until 5:45 p.m. These must all be pre-booked via the school office.
