Justice class have been learning how to use flashbacks to convey
English / Literacy: The Piano - Emotive Language Recount (2 lessons) |  Teaching Resourcescharacter and setting this half-term. We have been using the animation ‘The Piano’ to learn about the events of an old man’s life as he reminisces about happy and sad events which occurred in his life. 

In maths, we have been learning how to multiply one-digit numbers with up to two decimal places by whole numbers and recall equivalences between simple fractions, decimals and percentages, including in different contexts for example: one piece of cake that has been cut into 5 equal slices can be expressed as 1/5 or 0.2 or 20% of the whole cake

Our Topic this half-term is ‘World War II’ we have been learning how the war began and how it became a World War. We have also been learning about what life was like for people living in the UK at the time during The Blitz. The different sources that we have been using to find out about life have shown us that different people can have different perspectives on events throughout history.

In RE we have been investigating how Christmas is advertised and

by whom.  We have been learning about how Christians would advertise Christmas and creating our own advertisements to share the Christian belief of Christmas.
