MyHappyMind

As a school, we are passionate about helping children and adults to become the very best versions of themselves and true to our vision, the introduction of myHappymind across all year groups has been of great benefit to pupils and staff. myHappymind suits the needs of all pupils right from Early Years through to Year 6, teachers learn all the science backed strategies that will improve their own wellbeing and parents are able to reinforce everything their children are learning at school whilst they are at home.

“myHappymind helps me understand my brain and happy breathing helps me stay calm.” Oceania, Year 3

“myHappymind allows children to show appreciation of their peers and learn from their good examples of behaviour.” Hayleigh Ijagbone, Year 1 Teacher.

Due to our great efforts to embed myHappymind in our school for the emotional wellbeing of pupils and staff, we are very proud to announce that we are now a myHappymind Bronze Accredited School! We have done this by dedicating time every week, as part of 'Wellbeing Wednesday' for children to explore and gain greater insight into their minds and emotional health. During these sessions, pupils and staff learn about their brain, how it functions, and how we can develop a better understanding of the complexity of our brains, thoughts and emotions.

We regularly share information with parents about myHappymind, what we are doing in school, as well as how parents can access the myHappymind app! The myHappymind parental app is available to embed a systematic approach, where parents can use and learn the same strategies with children at home.

To access these materials, just go to https://myhappymind.org/parent-resources and enter your name, email, and authentication code. Your authentication code is 100181 or download the app using the QR code below. We really encourage you to make use of this free content so that you can support your child in getting the best out of the curriculum.
