Autumn 1

In Peace class we have been using the story ‘The Promise’ to analyse how characters are feeling in a story and understand the motivations for their behaviour. We then created our own story based on what would have happened next.

 

In Science, we have been drawing and interpreting tables and graphs. We have used the graphs to make predictions about other animals and plants.

In Topic, we have been learning about the Battle of Britain. We created timelines showing the main events of the Battle, learnt about dog fights and made our own planes.

Autumn 2

In Peace class we have using Rudyard Kipling’s Just So Stories as our stimulus for our writing. We have created stories that show how animals were created.

In Science, we have been learning about materials and how they can change. We completed investigations, recording the results in different ways.

In Maths, we have been solving problems, using fractions.
