The BJR Travel Ambassadors are responsible for promoting safe travel to school and active travel. They encourage walking where possible so that we can help our environment.

Our Travel Ambassadors will meet with Miss Broad every week, from January 2026. Their focus will be leading whole-school competitions, Collective Worship and exciting promotion days. If you have any ideas about how we can support you with travel, please come and talk to us.

Road Safety Workshops

Years 1–6 attend road safety workshops where they learn about road safety laws, safe crossing and the Green Cross Code. 

Walk to School Week

The whole school takes part in Walk to School Weeks. Lots of schools across the country promoted walking to school during these weeks as it is a great way to stay active whilst helping the planet.
