Geography Intent

At BJR, our Geography curriculum is designed to nurture a life-long love of learning by developing children’s curiosity and fascination with the world and its people. We aim to instil positive attitudes towards Geography, helping pupils to see their role as responsible global citizens, while fostering a strong connection with our community and the wider world.

Geography provides strong foundations upon which children can build knowledge, develop confidence to explore physical and human processes, places and people, and the environment at both local and global scales.
